Thanksgiving Tropicasher

Rosh Chodesh (the beggining) of the Jewish month of Kislev In 5780
coincides with November 27th of 2009( of the Common Era).

Every Rosh Chodesh is a thanksgiving day.
In whith say Halel, the thansgiving Psalms of King David:

הֹדוּ לַה׳ כִּי טוֹב, כִּי לְעוֹלָם חַסְדּוֹ
Hodu leHashem kitov, ki leolam chassdo

 > Give thanks to God, as His Benevolence is Infinite.

Hodu in Hebrew means "Give thanks". But in modern Hebrew, Hodu is also rhe name of a particular bird... the famous Turkey eaten in thanksgiving.

So, no matter who we are, were we are, and why we are giving thanksgiving,
let us remember, that the Almighty is the very Source of everything we have.
