Rav Kook and the number 70.

Rabbi Avraham Itschak Hacohen Kook was the first Chief Rabbi of Israel in the present Era.

He passed away at age 70, just like King David.

The day of his demise (Yurzeit) in the Hebrew calendar is 3 of Elul.

The numerical value of Elul - אֱלוּל - in Hebrew is 67.

67 + 3 lately is 70 = the date of death and the respective age of Rav Kook.

And we are in Year 70 of the founding of the State of Israel.

Seventy is also the number of nations and languages of the world according to the Torah.

Putting all together gives a beautiful Gueulah!

Rav Kook
